Topic: Mapping Health Data Made Easy:How to Integrate SAS and Google Earth to Create Interactive Maps
Presenter: Mahmoud Azimaee, Director, Data Quailty & Information Management, Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences
Abstract:SAS has the capability to create geographical maps in order to visualize your research findings. It is quick and easy, if you have your geographical boundary data ready. This presentation will go over a few techniques in creating maps in SAS and then introduce a few different online sources to find Ontario geographical boundary data and methods to make them SAS-ready. Finally, we will leverage SAS to integrate it with Google Earth to go beyond SAS Graphic limits. A SAS macro that generates KML file to display your research data in Google Earth will be introduced.
