Topic: Drug Development from Business Plan, Regulatory Plan to Statistical Strategy

Abstract: Drug development is a very complex process, beginning from the chemical laboratory, until the patents end. During that time, statisticians are involved in most steps. In this talk, we will discuss how statisticians contribute to the drug development flow from business plan to regulatory plan to strategic statistical plan. We will include 2 perspectives, one from the smaller company and biotechnology perspective, and one from the large pharmaceutical perspective.
