2014/15 session 2014-10-20 seminar

The Applied Biostatistics Association (TABA) invites you to a seminar and dinner:

Topic: Interrupted time series

Presenter: Yang Chen, St. Michael’s Hospital; TARGet Kids project

Abstract: Interrupted time series is frequently encountered in health policy and marketing research when the goal is to estimate the impact of an intervention on a series. Time series intervention analysis is one way to model the change in the trend while accounting for the cyclical and dynamic components of the data. This talk will cover some basics of time series analysis, and through an example demonstrate how interrupted time series can be modeled in SAS using classical ARIMA framework with transfer functions according to Box and Tiao’s theory.
